Relates to ropes manufactured from strands of galvanized steel wire covered with fibre. These ropes are made of 4 or 6 strands laid around a fibre main core. Each strand is made of 6, 12 or 24 wires laid round a fibre strand core and covered with a number of fibre yarns. Covers fibre main core, covering yarns, wire, galvanizing, joints, construction, weight, length, freedom from defects, breaking load, facilities for inspection, packing, marking, certificate of test and examination, tables of weights and breaking leads and spring lay ropes.
