Determination of non-combined carbon contents of 0.1% (m/m) or more.

This Subsection of BS 6200 describes a gravimetric method for the determination of non-combined carbon in cast iron and pig iron. The method is applicable to non-combined carbon contents equal to or greater than 0.1 % (m/m). It is to be used in conjunction with BS EN 10036.
