Gives requirements for the magnetic properties and the geometric characteristics and tolerances of grades of cold rolled, magnetic, non oriented steel sheet and strip delivered in the finally annealed state. Suitable for nominal thicknesses of 0.35, 0.50 and 0.65 mm and nominal widths up to and including 1250 mm. Provides the requirements for insulating coatings which can be applied to the surfaces of the sheet and strip when requested by the purchaser. Suitable for isotropic (non oriented) material intended for the construction of magnetic circuits and for use at industrial frequencies. Includes inspection and sampling procedures, preparation of test specimens and methods to be used. Plus inspection and supplier's certificate.
