SHOULD BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH BS 7870 PARTS 1 AND 2 Defines the construction dimensions and tests for the type of CNE cables with either one or three solid aluminium polymeric insulated phase conductors and concentric combined neutral/earth of either aluminium or copper wires in a double rubber layer, or copper wires in a single rubber layer, at conductor temperature for normal operating conditions of 80 deg C for XLPE and HEPR insulated cables.
