La presente norma fornisce prescrizioni per assicurare l'intercambiabilità degli isolatori passanti, diversi dai trasformatori a riempimento con liquido, per tensioni nominali superiori ad 1 kV fino a 36 kV compresi, per correnti da 250 A a 1250 A compresi e frequenze da 15 Hz a 60 Hz compresi. La presente norma fissa le dimensioni essenziali dei connettori separabili a spina, similari, aventi equivalenti valori nominali.
