Le informazioni ed i dati della presente norma forniscono le dimensioni, la forma e le tolleranze appropriate per i sistemi di piazzole destinate al montaggio superficiale, in modo da garantire lo spazio sufficiente per i cordoni di saldatura adeguati e, nel contempo da consentire l'ispezione, le prove e la rilavorazione di tali giunti di saldatura.
