A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Refers to panels made primarily from interfelted ligno-cellulosic fibers, (usually wood) consolidated under pressure and heat in a hot press to an minimum density of 500 kg/m cubed. Gives a number of different hardboard types and gives general and detail requirements and minimum physical properties for each type.
