Equipment prepared in accordance with this Standard shall be capable of being stored and transported, started and operated, and routinely maintained in cold climates, as detailed in Defence Standard (Def Stan) 00-035 (Part 4), where conditions of ice and snow, combined with adverse wind chill and the effects of high altitude, are factors.
