Sie legt Begriffe, Prüfverfahren und Berichte sowie Berechnungsmethoden für die zyklische und reduzierte Verdichterleistung fest. Temperatur- und systemreduzierte Leistungen sind ausgeschlossen. Diese Spezifikation ist gültig für fabrikmässig hergestellte Einheiten, wie sie in EN 14511-1 mit Ausnahme von Wärmepumpen für Heisswasserbereiter für den Sanitärbereich definiert sind.
