Dieser Teil von IEC 61249 enthält Anforderungen für die Eigenschaften von kupferkaschierten mit E-Glasgewebe verstärkten Laminattafeln auf der Basis von difunktionalem halogenhaltigem Epoxidharz mit definierter Brennbarkeit (Brennprüfung mit vertikaler Prüflingslage) in Dicken von 0,05 mm bis 3,20 mm. Die Glasübergangstemperatur ist auf eine Temperatur von mindestens 120 grad C festgelegt.
