This standard is included in DIN Handbook 152. Applies to drain and sewer systems operating essentially under gravity, from the point where the sewage leaves a building or roof drainage system or enters a road gully, to the point of discharge into a treatment works or receiving water. Includes drains and sewers below buildings so long as they are not part of the building's drainage system. Gives the principles for operating and maintaining drain and sewer systems.
