Proposes the adoption as an Australian Standard of the 2nd edition of IEC 1107, currently draft document 13/1070/CDV, November 1994, which gives details of licence availabilities through FLAG Association Limited, UK, and of a defined data-protocol for accessing metering devices within the framework of the IEC Standard. Proposes also circuit arrangements for 2-wire and 4-wire single-slave and multiple-slave configurations. Copies of IEC document 13/1070/CDV may be viewed at any Standards Australia office, or purchased at Standards Australia head office in Sydney.
