Proposes the adoption of IEC 61459:1996, which provides guidance in the selection of fuse-links to ensure coordination with contactors or motor-starters (contactors with overload relay). A copy of IEC 61459 can be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office or Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
