This document provides guidance for the information to be provided by a furniture manufacturer to paint and varnish suppliers and the information to be provided by a paint and varnish supplier to furniture manufacturers, in order to assist in the selection of coating materials and coating systems for wood-based material in furniture for interior use.This standard should be a reference document to be used with the test methods and specifications of the different types of furniture.NOTEFor the purpose of this guide, wood-based materials with modified surfaces are included in this document (laminates, etc.)
