Describes the characteristics of the fitness for purpose of glass-reinforced thermosetting plastics based on unsaturated polyester resin (GRP-UP) piping systems intended to be used for non-pressure drainage and sewerage. Also specifies the relevant test parameters for the test methods referred to in this standard which are applicable to the joints to be used in GRP-UP piping systems to be used for the conveyance of surface water or sewage below ground, outside buildings, at temperature up to 50 degree C.
