Dimensions and strength characteristics are not specified, these being called up in associated design ESI Standards. Embodies the minimum requirements of the current British Standards and the British Wood Preservation Association Specifications. The British Tar Industry Association has been consulted regarding the creosote specification. Includes all the information necessary for the National Scheme for Inspection of Wood Poles at Suppliers' yards'.
