History

Proposed transmission system for Digital multi-programme Television for distribution in Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) systems. Complements ETS 300 429 and aligns with ETS 300 421 (Satellite) Compatible with modulation and channel coding system for digital multi-programme television by cable and satellite transmission. Based on MPEG-2 System Layer - with Forward Error Correction (FEC) technique as appropriate. Allows for further development but can operate a reliable service immediately.
