Deze norm beschrijft een methode voor de bepaling van het gehalte van een aantal chloorfenoxycarbonzuren en bentazon opgelost in water met capillaire gaschromatografie (GC) en ion trap detectie. De norm is van toepassing op de bepaling in niet-gefiltreerd oppervlaktewater, grondwater en drinkwater met een opgelost organisch koolstof gehalte (DOC) van ten hoogste 5 mg/l. De methode is getoetst voor watermonsters met een DOC van ten hoogste ca. 5 mg/l. Voor matrices met een hoger DOC-gehalte moet de toepasbaarheid van de methode vooraf worden gecontroleerd.
