This document specifies the requirements for the construction, operation, testing, marking and sizing and documentation of safety valves: for upstream pressures up to 100 bar and nominal diameters up to DN 400; for a working temperature range from – 20 °C to + 60 °C; operating with combustible gases of the first and second family, as defined inNF EN 437, used in expansion-control stations in accordance withNF EN 12186orNF EN 12279, in transmission and distribution networks as well as in industrial installations.
