Specifies the chamfer dimension limits of metric series rolling bearing rings (other International Standards give the boundary dimensions of these rings). Tries to achieve interchangeability of rolling bearings, by specifying the limits of the chamfer dimensions, and to minimize the risk of incompatibility in bearing applications. Not applicable to chamfers for which dimensions are unspecified, or for which other dimension limits are specified in other International Standards. Also includes detailed definitions
