Defines a procedure which determines consistency of fresh concrete by way of the Vebe time. Does not cover concrete where maximum aggregate size is over 63 mm. Should the Vebe time be less than 5 s or over 30 s, the concrete has a consistency for which the Vebe test is inappropriate.
