Er gilt nicht für Computer- und Spezialarbeitsplätze, z.B. Büros, Laboratorien, Reihenbestuhlung, Werkstätten und Bereiche für Entwurf und Technik. Anhang A (normativ) enthält ein Prüfverfahren für die Fallprüfung von Stühlen.
