Diese Norm beschreibt manuelle Verfahren zur Probenahme von Beschichtungsstoffen und Rohstoffen für Beschichtungsstoffe. Eingeschlossen sind Flüssigkeiten und solche Produkte, die sich beim Erhitzen verflüssigen, ohne sich chemisch zu verändern, und auch pulverisierte, granulierte und pastenförmige Produkte. Proben dürfen aus Containern, z.B. Dosen, Trommeln, Tanks, Kesselwagen oder Schiffskammern sowie Fässern, Säcken, Big-Bags, Silos oder Silofahrzeugen oder von Förderbändern genommen werden.
