This document applies to the design of pedestrian - reel lawn mowers (reel mowers);and - rotary lawn mowers (sickle mowers) equipped with - metallic cutting tools;and/or - rigid non-metallic cutting tools;and/or - non-metallic cutting tools consisting of one or more cutting elements rotatably mounted on a usually round drive device, these cutting elements being able to cut due to centrifugal forces and each individual cutting element having a kinetic energy of more than 10 J.
