Establishes methods of determining efficiencies from tests, and specifies methods of obtaining specific losses of d.c. machines and a.c. synchronous and induction machines of all sizes within the scope of IEC 60034-1 (adopted in South Africa as an identical adoption under the designation SANS 60034-1).
