Bellcore's view of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) compatibility considerations for the Stored Program Control Switching System (SPCS) to CPE data transmission interface. This document provides guidelines for the CPE to be compatible with the SPCS-to-CPE interface defined in Voiceband Data Transmission Interface Generic Requirements, TA-NWT-000030, Issue 3. This SR describes CPE compatibility considerations only for on-hook data transmission.
