Provides changes to the Signaling System No.7 (SS7) generic switching system requirements contained in TR-NWT-000394, Issue 4, 12/92. These changes include new procedures and alignment with standards in Interexchange Carrier Interconnection using the ISDN user part (ISDNUP). The major changes are: (1) Inclusion of procedures for Carrier Identification Code expansion, (2) Inclusion of procedures for charge treatment and Automatic Messages Accounting (AMA) at the terminating SPCS, (3) Inclusion of procedures for automatic congestion control.
