Presents Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements applicable to the Intercept Database (INDB). The INDB contains information about intercepted Directory Numbers (i.e., vacant or disconnected numbers). This document describes the required INDB services, the architecture, the data storage requirements, and the query processing requirements. In addition, the INDB administration, relevant interconnections, and performance (i.e., availability, response times, and capacity) requirements are described. An INDB Data Catalog is also included describing the meaning and use of each INDB data field.
