Versione in lingua italiana della norma europea EN 21563-91 che recepisce senza modifiche la norma internazionale ISO 1563-90. Si riferisce ai materiali da impronta a base di alginati utilizzati in odontoiatria per la presa di impronte dei denti e dei tessuti del cavo orale. Definisce le caratteristiche dei materiali dentali costituiti essenzialmente da gelificante alginato che, previa miscelazione con acqua, sia in grado di reagire per formare un materiale adatto allo scopo.
