The standard provides test procedures to determine the performance of packaged, autonomous or factory-assembled hydrogen generation plants with a capacity of less than 400 m3/h at 0 °C and 101.325 kPa, hereinafter referred to as hydrogen generators, which convert a fuel into a hydrogen-rich stream of composition and conditions suitable for the type of device using hydrogen (e.g. a fuel cell fuel system or a hydrogen compression, storage and delivery system).
