Le présent document définit les câbles et jarretières à circuits symétriques pour installations intérieures, extérieures et d'équipements de transmission. Ce document est applicable aux câbles à circuits symétriques avec des conducteurs en cuivre pour: - distribution numérique de circuits de clients dans les centraux, - installations intérieures d'équipements de transmission haute fréquence en régime analogique en régime numérique, - câblages intérieurs et extérieurs de clients et d'immeubles professionnels. Il est en conformité avec les recommandations de l'UIT.
