Diese Europäische Norm legt die Leistungsmerkmale und konstruktiven Anforderungen sowie die zugehörigen Prüfungen für gleichstromversorgte elektronische Vorschaltgeräte fest, deren Anwendung die Versorgung von Leuchtstofflampen in Bahnfahrzeugen ist. Diese Anforderungen ersetzen die Anforderungen von EN 60925 und präzisieren und ergänzen jene von EN 60924 für die Erfordernisse des Einsatzes in Bahnfahrzeugen.
