This test method covers the determination of the ratio of anatase to rutile in titanium dioxide pigments.

1.1This test method covers the determination of the ratio of anatase to rutile in titanium dioxide pigments. The method is also applicable to pigment mixtures and pigmented coatings containing titanium dioxide.

1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
