This technical standard defines classification and specifications for pyrolytic bioliquids obtained from pyrolytic termochemical processes and to be used for energy purposes; moreover it defines specifications for pyrolytic bioliquids produced from the following feedstocks: ligno-cellulosic, vegetable oils and fats and their raw materials, animal oils and fats, algae, their blends and mixtures. Pyrolytic bioliquids obtained from pyrolytic termochemical processes on feedstock different from biomass are out of the scope of this technical standard.
