Aeronautical Radio Incorporated

ARINC (Aeronautical Radio Incorporated) is the overarching body for industry organisations that collaborate to develop Standards to reduce life cycle costs and improve cost effectiveness and productivity in aviation. 

ARINC Standards are organised into three main activity areas - engineering and technical Standards for airborne electronics, maintenance-related technical Standards, and technical Standards related to simulation and training.  

All have highly diverse applications, ranging from satellite air-ground communication systems and cockpit display systems to fibre-optic components used on all types of aircraft.
