    This Standard sets out a procedure for testing the compatibility of two or more materials used as a paint system or part thereof, such as primer and undercoat, or primer, undercoat and finishing paint - examining the recoating properties of a material applied over itself; and checking the effect of the underlying coat(s) on the finish of the dry film.

    This Standard sets out a procedure for -(a) testing the compatibility of two or more materials used as a paint system or part thereof, such as primer and undercoat, or primer, undercoat and finishing paint;(b) examining the recoating properties of a material applied over itself; and(c) checking the effect of the underlying coat(s) on the finish of the dry film.
