Dieser Teil der IEC 61754 ist eine Norm für Steckgesichter und beschreibt einen SC RJ Lichtwellenleiter-Steckverbinder, der mit einem Schutzgehäuse ausgerüstet ist und damit eine Erweiterung des bestehenden Steckgesichtes gemäss der Beschreibung in IEC 61754 24 für die Schutzarten IP65 und IP67 nach IEC 60529 zur Verwendung in rauer Industrieumgebung darstellt.
