Dieser Teil 24-11 aus IEC 61754 beschreibt einen in ein Schutzgehäuse eingesetzten SC-RJ-Lichtwellenleiter-Steckverbinder. Dieses stellt eine Erweiterung des bestehenden Steckverbinders, beschrieben in IEC 61754 24, auf die Schutzgrade IP 65 und IP 67, nach IEC 60529, zur Verwendung in rauer Industrieumgebung dar.
