Provides Bellcore's view of generic tandem switching requirements to be used in combination with the Common Sections of the LSSGR. The requirements apply to systems which can be designed using existing analog or digital technology for: combined local/tandem switching systems, tandem & access tandem switching systems. Although this information may not necessarily apply to older systems, it is expected to provide useful information for system updating & new systems. Rev 1 - Gives additional info on glare resolution in Section 5.2.9.4 of the document. Rev 2 - Details the wording in Section 5.2.3.2 and Section 5.2.4.1 to ensure that the proper technology is implemented.
