Provides a list of structural timbers and their properties, and an extensive explanation of the list.
This Standard sets out a table of species and their general properties, which can be used for the design of timber structures. NOTES:1 It is emphasized that structural timber exhibits considerable natural variability and, consequently, the information given herein might be inadequate when precise and specific data are required.2 The inclusion of a species in this Part does not necessarily indicate that it is readily available.
