    The objective of this Standard is to ensure the safety of subsequent users of second-hand electrical equipment intended for connection to the electrical supply mains, by providing to the seller, a regime for general safety inspection and testing. This includes electrical hazards and other hazards such as non-working mechanical guards and cut-out devices.
