Gives recommendations on the application of expansion vessels in individual domestic premises. Includes description, design considerations and types of application. Sections one and two cover domestic heating systems and include recommendations on the application and use of ancillary equipment and testing, commissioning and maintenance. Section three makes reference to domestic hot water supply systems.

This Part of BS 7074 gives recommendations on the application of expansion vessels for use in individual domestic premises. It includes description, design considerations and types of application.

Sections 1 and 2 cover domestic heating systems using expansion vessels complying with BS 4814 and include recommendations on:

  1. the application and use of ancillary equipment and
  2. testing, commissioning and maintenance.

Section 3 makes reference to domestic hot water supply systems.
