Japanese Standards Association

The objective of JSA is 'to educate the public regarding the standardization and unification of industrial standards, and thereby to contribute to the improvement of technology and the enhancement of production efficiency'. JSA conducts surveys and research into standardization and investigates and studies the application and practical aspects of quality engineering (Taguchi Methods), data analysis methods, and techniques used for raising reliability and motivation. JSA develops draft JIS in various fields.
