Diese Norm gilt auch für Feuerungsautomaten, Steuergeräte und ihre zugehörigen Flammenwächter, die zusätzliche Funktionen beinhalten. Feuerungsautomaten, die thermoelektrische Flammenüberwachungseinrichtungen verwenden, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm.
