Sets forth Bellcore's preliminary view of generic requirements for an interface between Network Nodes & OSs supporting network data collection for NEs & network systems. The focus of this document is to provide a set of services & a model for measurement-oriented communications between network nodes & an NDC OS. This ISC Guidelines for the Definitions of Managed Objects were used to present the model. Introduces a model for data collection for Service Control Points (SCPs) & adds special studies capabilities for Signal Transfer Points (STPSs) & Circuit Switches. Also moves the model towards alignment with ANSI standards by subclassing all measurement store objects from either the current Data or history Data objects of the T1M1 Performance Management Model.
